Taking a Break at Lake Crescent

Although I did have suspicions that the owner of our house was a serial killer, I was thankful he had a house with such gorgeous views. It was quiet and serene. We saw deer walking around the property multiple times. The flowers were stunning. There were ferns growing naturally all around us. And a gorgeous river rushing down below. It was the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening cocktail.

After a couple busy, exhausting days, we knew we needed to take a breather and have a more relaxing day.  Luckily, Lake Crescent was a short drive from us and offers a great restaurant and a short hike to a cool swimming hole called "The Devil's Punchbowl."

I had read about it - and one of our restaurant servers told us about it. Luke was 100% in on wanting to jump off the bridge into The Devil's Punchbowl.

Luke is the coolest person I know!

The water was stunning - crystal clear and turquoise blue.

We explored around the lodge and had some fun before we headed out on our little hike.
Thankful for some teenage boys who can carry me across the water when I don't wanna get cold and wet!

Thankful for my perfect hubby who keeps me smiling and enjoys experiencing all the crazy with me.

Below is the amazing Devil's Punchbowl we had heard about.

He was all in!  Way tougher than me.
He nailed it with this perfect jump and giant cannonball splash!

Cold and happy!

Alright Olympic Peninsula, we did all we could do in the time that we had - we made some great memories and saw some exquisite sites.
You. Are. Spectacular!

We are heading off to the Canadian Rockies next!
