Sweet Sixteen
I forever stand by the belief that the best memories come from spur of the moment decisions... going with your gut... wanting something badly enough and just making it happen. Such was the situation when Richie and I decided to buy tickets and book a trip to NYC the moment UT beat Duke in the second round of playoffs during March Madness. Heading to Madison Square Garden baby to see Tennessee in the Sweet Sixteen! This fabulous decision of ours was made even sweeter when Michigan State beat Marquette later that evening! Heading to Madison Square Garden baby to see both Tennessee and Michigan State play in the Sweet Sixteen! We headed up in the morning, made it just in time to have a drink and make our way to the games. First game was Michigan State vs Kansas State. Second game was Tennessee vs Florida Atlantic. The view from our seats was pretty spectacular. Michigan State played a hell of a game... ended up going into overtime... but sadly lost 98-93 to Kansas State. I believ
