Salt Water Anglers
One of the big highlights of our trip was having 24/7 access to a great fishing spot just outside our front door. Sam and Richie would stand out there for hours on end baiting, casting, reeling, and hooking (I have no idea what I'm talking about... but I think that sounds about right...) Charlie and Luke would do their drive by fishing... cast a few times and then jump back in the pool... The most exciting catch of the week was the barracuda that would hang around the dock... Freaky freaky looking things ~ Charlie spotted another barracuda and pointed it out to Sam... Aaand, he caught it....! A couple days into the trip, the big boys went on a private fishing charter and caught all kinds of great fish Mangrove snapper, red snapper, grouper.... (which were all delicious, by the way!) And Charlie won the day with this goliath grouper, which clearly is endangered.. and monstrously insane! Through this trip, Sam has decided that he wants to spend a summer or two being a first ma
