Then the Sun Goes Down

  I know the photo above looks like I over-edited it and set the saturation way too high... but the truth is, I didn't even touch it.  The sunsets from Casa Bendita were stunning... It was an entirely different scene every night...  sometimes vibrant and loud, sometimes calm and pastel, sometimes it was something in between... but it always something new to take in It's remarkable that this scene happens every single night...  every. single. night... Whether we are there to capture it or not What I didn't know as I stood there, blessed beyond measure amongst that breathtaking scene, was what was about to unfold in 2020... I didn't know just a few weeks later that travel would become non-existent, that we would go months without seeing loved ones, that the freedom of walking into a store  without worry  - free to breath the air - would become odd to us, that human contact would become uncomfortable... that simple activities, like getting a hai...
