Halloween in DBO

Signed in blood in our contract with our kids when we moved to Franklin was a promise that we would spend Halloween in Dunbarton Oaks.  There is always a big celebration - and the boys have countless memories running through the neighborhood with their friends and dumping out their candy at the end of the night, trading each other for their most favorite sugar filled treat.

While Halloween in 2020 was celebrated in a different way, it didn't stop them from running amuck and having a big time.

(Cuteness overload below...)

I gotta admit - I probably had a little too much fun doing Sam's zombie make-up.  He was feeling pretty proud of the look we created.  He literally looked like a college kid - it was crazy.

I was happy to see at least one of my kids have a non-creepy costume. It's hard not to fall in love with some Charlie Brown :)

Costume winner of the night goes to Jed Cobble who was a Minecraft Enderman, homemade by Miss Marie 💜
Seriously... this is Luke below..  Sam and Charlie dressed up as Mario and Luigi when they were this age.
Totally normal... right?

And a significantly smaller crowd of kids coming together at Dunbarton Oaks...  my man child standing out in the crowd.
It really was a fun evening.. Hard to beat Halloween in Dunbarton Oaks!
