First Watch Farewell

One of my favorite weekend treats is going to First Watch on Bearden Hill for breakfast...  the kids always seem happy, enjoying their fruit and yogurt crepes. Richie and I always find something yummy to eat with our morning coffee. The servers know who we are and always take good care of us.
Along with the rest of the world, First Watch shut down when COVID hit... so we went several months without our weekend treat. It looked a little different when we finally did go back, but we still enjoyed it just the same.
Not only was this our first time back after COVID crazy... but it was our last time to visit before moving out of our home in Knoxville and heading to Nashville...  So it definitely felt different this time.

When I look at these pictures, I can feel the emotion, the reluctance, fear, and sadness... and I can also see the hope and trust and confidence that regardless of where we plant our roots, we are going to blossom and grow together. It will look different, but different can be really amazing.
Thank you First Watch on Bearden Hill for all the sweet memories...
And thank you my sweet Hatcher boys for trusting and loving me, even when it hurts to say goodbye.
