Christmas in Breckenridge

It has been 10 years to the day since our family of four flew out to Breckenridge, CO to experience a snowy Christmas.  Our boys have been talking about reliving it for several years now. They've seen the pictures... they've watched the videos. They were only one and two when we last went ~ and Luke hadn't been dreamed of.
We decided 2018 was the year!  We arrived late on Christmas Eve... so Christmas morning came with much excitement... not so much for toys and Santa Claus... but to get out and explore in the 3 feet of snow that lay peacefully outside our door.
We had a small view of some beautiful mountain peaks from our front yard.
A tree swing covered in snow...

A Nantucket Chair whose seat could barely be found.

And a large frozen lake right across the street.

Never really figured out what Luke was upset about here... but I can't resist a good cry picture...  It was followed by some mommy drama losing her sh!* dragging Luke back to our chalet.... and gasping for air as I adjusted to our new altitude..  Total badass!

It was a beautiful Christmas scene!  :)

We found a Thai restaurant that was open on Christmas evening... so we celebrated there with some sushi... in perfect Hatcher style.
Then we walked around the beautiful town of Breckenridge
Charlie and I found some new hats at Craniologie!
And we saw joy and smiles all around us...
A perfect Christmas day spent with the loves of my life ~
