Now let me hear you Gobble Gobble Gobble

I'm rather behind on posting, but couldn't let the year come to an end without sharing with you the highly anticipated Turkey Trot experienced by my sweet Rocky Hill Elementary Kindergartener.

Unbelievably adorable!
The pictures really do it no justice, but you've got over a hundred five and six year old peanuts walking in a line in these amazing turkey feathers that they have been working on all year (primary colors first, then secondary, and tertiary) singing this catchy little tune.
"The Turkey Trot. The Turkey Trot. Come on everyone. Let's join in all the fun. We'll do the Turkey Trot. The Turkey Trot. It's really very easy to do."
"First you spread your wings and you Wobble Wobble Wobble. Now let me hear you Gobble Gobble Gobble."
"Turn around and you scratch the ground. Now we're doing the Turkey Trot." (repeat entire song)
Then they stood on stage and sang us some great Thanksgiving tunes for about 30 minutes… lots of songs about killing and eating turkeys (made me feel a little awkward for the vegetarians on stage!) but all amazing little voices!
And to think, I get to do it all over again next year! Can't wait!
