Sweet Family Fun

I didn't think it was possible for me to love photography any more… but with family photo shoots like I had this past weekend with Wes and Melanie and their gorgeous little boys, I simply can't get enough of it!
 I really did love my time at the UT Gardens with this sweet family. I could chase these little peanuts around all day long snapping shots of their beautiful faces.
On top of that, their mommy and daddy making for some gorgeous couples photography!
 I'll refrain from commenting too much here… Hope you enjoy seeing the pictures as much as I enjoyed capturing them!

    The expressions that you captured on these little guy's faces are amazing. And, their mom and dad are lovely, too! Where will you be next Sunday at 4:00 sharp?

Wow! It's been a while.  Coming to this seat to reflect and write is always in the back of my mind, but sometimes it's just more complicated than others to actually get here. I have several significant events to share with you. Peak 8 and Carter Park

We geared up the next morning to enjoy a few more of the fun adventures Breckenridge has to offer.   We started with a gondola ride up to Peak 8 This gave us an opportunity to check out the ski slopes and helped convince me to take Sam and Charlie skiing...  Yikes!! (more to come on that)   Our kids are going to jump in a snow pile anywhere they can and start playing...   You know it's a good day when you're sitting beneath some blue skies 8,000 feet above sea level, having a drink and some lunch outside near a small fire, and watching people enjoy the gorgeous slopes of Colorado. Robbie's Tavern at Peak 8 ~ highly recommend! Onward to Carter Park to indulge in some sledding!   Can you even stand this smile? Charlie learns to swim!!!

It seems that there is a magical moment in every child's life where the concept of swimming just clicks. I remember Sam had his moment in the Renaissance Hotel overlooking Manhattan just before his 4th birthday. We had been driving for 11 hours straight, and he was so excited to get some energy out - he just started swimming all over the salt water pool.  Well, Charlie had his moment this past week in Orlando. While he was first a little angry that his mommy and daddy forgot his swim vest, he later become the happiest little boy in Florida!   Racing his big brother Great Job Charlie Hatcher!! So proud of my newest little fishy! Here are a few others of our day at the pool.
