Come fly with me, let's fly, let's fly away
If you can use some exotic booze
There's a bar in far Bombay
Come on fly with me, let's fly, let's fly away
Once I get you up there where the air is rarified
We'll just glide, starry-eyed
Once I get you up there I'll be holding you so near
You may hear all the angels cheer 'cause we're together
Somewhere along the line, without me really being aware of it, I became an avid fan of bird decor. All of a sudden, every new item that I purchase to be displayed in my home, or on my clothing, has some reference of a bird ~ of sorts.
My owl skirt ~ Sam finds it so peculiar that this owl has no mouth or nose.
A staple in my wardrobe ~ my bird skirt. Frequently seen worn with my other staple, the ole Crocs Flip Flops (oh the miles we have travelled)!
A new friend to the family ~ my red birdie dress. The fun part is this is a picture of the back of the dress. Birds adorn the front of this dress as well.
My favorite bird house embellishing my patio
And robin's nest ~ so sweet
Birds also decorate the walls of my patio in three Agrestic Frames ~
I'm loving this trend and will continue to find serenity in all the birds that surround me.
I've actually, for years, had a recurring dream that I can fly. In my dream, it's as if I recall my previous dreams because I inevitably have that "oh yeah!" moment where I remember that I actually have this ability. It's one of my favorite dreams ~ what a liberating feeling to soar above the Earth's surface.
Weather-wise, it's such a cool cool day
You just say those words and we'll beat the birds
Down to Acapulco Bay
It's so perfect for a flying honeymoon, oh babe
Come fly with me, let's fly, let's fly
Pack up, let's fly away!!
