Not-Quite-Norris Lake
In another episode of forced family time, I was on a mission to find our new lake spot in the greater Nashville area. You've seen the many posts from Norris Lake where we will rent a pontoon from morning until night and have a fabulous day on the water. It's water. It's a pontoon... These are not difficult things to recreate. 😕 I mean... it wasn't a bad day.. the boys got to swim, we all got to relax, and I got to be surrounded by my favorite people on the planet... But... It just wasn't Norris Lake. If I'm gonna be honest... the pontoon boat was pretty shitty - old and falling apart... and it was expensive... and we were limited to this very small part of the lake... And then a storm blew in.. and we just decided to call it a day. I think we were out there for maybe 3 hours max. I still got to see some sweet smiles though. And the boys got to do a few cannonballs ... and feed ducks ... and sit around looking handsome ... and I got to hang with my sweethe
